Zandor Z

Zandor Z, chef de race! We may consider Zandor Z the best supplier of Grand Prix showjumping horses within European breeding. In 2010 he confirmed his title of ‘chef de race’ by being represented with two products at the World Cup finals of Geneva and the WC in Kentucky. Urico and Zekina Z started in Geneva, Zorro Z as well as Urico went to Kentucky.

This is a superb result, considering that they come from a total crop of 131 offspring that are 8-yr-olds or older. Under Kevin Staut Zeta de Hus Z made her international break-through in the top sport, with many platform places in, for example, the GP of Rio de Janeiro and the World Cups of Oslo and Helsinki. Other products of Zandor Z that started in GPs are Zarello Z, Zingaro Z, Zitaswoon Z and Zycarla Z. Zandor Z was a natural himself and under Jos Lansink jumped 30 Grand Prix and 10 World Cup competitions. In addition he won the Grand Prix of Bordeaux and the prestigious titles “Sires of the World” and “Best Stallion”. His dam Sprehe Padua successfully performed in the top sport for many years under Ralf Schneider. She is a full sister of the GP showjumping horses Sonora la Silla (Jan Tops) and Poor Boy (Beat Mändli) from the same Holsteiner lineage 4965 that is also standing at the basis of the international showjumping stallion Levisto Z (Judy-Ann Melchior). A pedigree of rare quality.

Australia - Ottaba Stud

Ottaba Stud is located in the beautiful Brisbane Valley just over an hour from Brisbane. Our young stock is sold at 4 and 5yo after starting basic training at the Stud.

Ottaba Stud was formed in 1994 and is situated on 165 acres of bushland with foundation Stallion Warrego Juggler. Now in 2009 Ottaba Stud has cross country fences, full dressage sand arena, show jumping facilities, yards, free jumping yard, round yard, stallion paddocks, stables and paddocks with 80% improved pasture with good growth all year round. Ottaba Stud initially started out as a hobby for owners Kris and Terry Tasker who brought their passion for hunting, eventing and show jumping over from New Zealand.

Ottaba Stud first stood foundation Stallion Warrego Juggler and we began our breeding program with him in 1996. Juggler’s bloodlines contained Lander on his dam side and Ludendorf on his sire side.
