Taloubet Z
Taloubet Z, multiple World Cup winner! Taloubet Z added his name to the gallery of the great last year by winning the World Cup Finals in Leipzig under Christian Ahlmann. Earlier that season he had won the World Cup qualifiers in Oslo and Helsinki. In 2010 Taloubet Z had also won the GCT in Estoril and the Grand Prix of Paris. The bay, who was bred in the Netherlands, combines the blood of two celebrities in European breeding with the French super jumper Galoubet A and the Westfalian progenitor Polydor. In the seventies and eighties Galoubet A caused sensation with a series of victories in the international showjumping sport under Gilles Bertran de Ballanda. In breeding world-wide, this Almé Z son is one of the best showjumping horse begetters of his generation.
His two most famous sons are Olympic Champion Baloubet de Rouet ridden by Rodrigo Pessoa and the tiny jumping miracle Quick Star ridden by Meredith Michaels. Polydor managed in Rheinland, a no man’s land in the breeding world, to produce a wide range of showjumping horses for the top sport. Famous names are Sonora la Silla, Two Steps, Pozitano and Paavo N. Taloubet’s dam Krista is a full sister of the international showjumping Prime Time ridden by Andreas Krieg.
Zandor Z
This is a superb result, considering that they come from a total crop of 131 offspring that are 8-yr-olds or older. Under Kevin Staut Zeta de Hus Z made her international break-through in the top sport, with many platform places in, for example, the GP of Rio de Janeiro and the World Cups of Oslo and Helsinki. Other products of Zandor Z that started in GPs are Zarello Z, Zingaro Z, Zitaswoon Z and Zycarla Z. Zandor Z was a natural himself and under Jos Lansink jumped 30 Grand Prix and 10 World Cup competitions. In addition he won the Grand Prix of Bordeaux and the prestigious titles “Sires of the World” and “Best Stallion”. His dam Sprehe Padua successfully performed in the top sport for many years under Ralf Schneider. She is a full sister of the GP showjumping horses Sonora la Silla (Jan Tops) and Poor Boy (Beat Mändli) from the same Holsteiner lineage 4965 that is also standing at the basis of the international showjumping stallion Levisto Z (Judy-Ann Melchior). A pedigree of rare quality.
